I got an email from someone representing the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino asking if I wouldn't mind putting info about that hotel on stbe.org. Because I'm me, I asked if we could get a hookup on rooms. I'll keep you posted.
I would normally be totally against staying as far off the strip as the Hard Rock is, but if we can finagle free/cheap ass rooms, my opinion might change.

I read the title of this post as "possible random hookup" and my mind went to a completely different place than the blog did. My mind sure has made a cozy little nest in the gutter over here.

If you still need a place...I could get a room on south vegas blvd (kinda far from the strip) for somewhere in the neighborhood of 70 bucks a night...that advantage is it will have 2 bathrooms and at least 3 beds as well as a kitchen...let me know.
one catch....max occupancy is 6...might have to get two rooms depending on how many you got.
